Radio Frequency Skin Tightening
What is RF?
Radio Frequency gives exceptional skin tightening results for those areas that can’t be targeted at the gym.
Gentle waves of radio frequency are passed into the skin, creating comfortable heat in the lower layers. RF carefully heats the skin between 38 to 40 to effectively stimulate the subdermal (deeper) cells of collagen production causing tissues to remodel effectively reducing fine lines, wrinkles and tighten loose, slackened skin.
Is it safe?
Yes its completely safe to treat any areas that may need tightening or firming. With
our skin and body’s tissues ability to absorb light, the use of LED therapy combined
really adds to this treatment ensuring our collagen and elastin fibroblasts are to be fully
energised to get the kickstart they need.

How Often should you get Radio-frequency?

1. How long does it take to see the results?
Results are immediate. Due to the simultaneous action of four skin rejuvenation technologies, you will notice the difference after your very first treatment. For the ultimate rejuvenation we recommend a course of 6 treatments, taken 2 weeks apart.
2. Why do I need to wait for 2 weeks before I have a further treatment?
It takes between 4–14 days for your fibroblast cells to lay down new Collagen. At day 14 we can stimulate the repairing and restructuring process again.

IMPORTANT
Patch test required at least 48 hours before your appointment. A patch test is required every 6 month for tinting and eyelash lifting (even if you have been having the treatment regularly or had elsewhere). A patch test is also required if you have changed medication, had a Covid-19 vaccine or become pregnant. Under no circumstances will the treatment be carried out if you fail to attend a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment but may still be charged.
I totally understand it can be a little inconvenient to have to travel to the salon prior to your appointment, but it is for your own safety. I just need 2 minutes of your time to apply the product to either the crook of the elbow or behind the ear. If you have a positive reaction the area will become red, itchy and irritated. If this occurs I recommend you to remove the product with cool water. At this stage I cannot carry out your treatment and the appointment will have to be cancelled. Your safety is more important than glam lashes and perfect brows!

Those stone-like lumps we get in our muscles may be small but they are pretty mighty when it comes to measuring how much pain they cause us.
What is a Muscle Knot?
“It’s basically when the muscle fibres fuse together. It can come from anything: overworking; moving incorrectly; sitting at a desk all day. Some people get it when they are stressed as they hold a lot of tension, and similarly if they are dehydrated. Knots can also come from training, especially if you train with high volume and heavy load.”
“They feel different to a pulled muscle. I guess one of the best ways to describe it is like flicking feeling. Because it’s basically just a ball of muscle caught up it may feel like you can’t move freely. They’re not an injury, but some people get them treated because they’re in discomfort.”
How can you get rid of Muscle Knots?
Massage tends to be the best way to get rid of muscle knots. That’s because it increases the blood flow and circulation to the area. It’s not necessary to trigger point the knots in order to get rid of them, but some people like being able to dig down into the point of damage and apply more pressure to the knot itself.

Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy massage can be received any time after the first trimester (13 weeks) up until your due date.
Most of us lead busy lives, so it’s great to give yourself time out to unwind and focus on yourself and your growing baby. Plus, if you’re suffering from aches, pains and exhaustion during pregnancy, a soothing treatment can work wonders.

What is massage for pregnancy?
Massage treatment during pregnancy can be extremely beneficial and rewarding, especially when the female is experiencing a number of symptoms that may be causing distress during their pregnancy. Symptoms such as low back pain, swollen ankles and mood swings can inhibit the level of enjoyment felt during pregnancy which should be a period of happiness and excitement.
A variation of massage techniques which vary in stroke depth, direction and rhythm can be used and adapted depending on the goals of the treatment.
Is massage painful?
On tight and irritated areas, massage therapy can be uncomfortable and cause soreness the following day; this is sometimes necessary to release tension. The pressure of the massage can however be as light or as deep as is needed. It is important that you always feel comfortable and enjoy the treatment. If something doesn’t feel right, inform your therapist immediately.
Which massage oils do you use?
At Coronated Beauty we use grape seed oil with no added essential oils. Grape seed oil is one of the best oils to use during pregnancy, as it’s perfect for massage and yet doesn’t leave greasy or sticky residue. We recommend avoiding the use of essential oils during pregnancy.
What position will I be in during a message?
The best position during massage is on your side with pillows or towels to support, which provides the most stability for the baby and also most comfortable for you. The massage table is also designed to be propped up so that you can be on your back in a semi-seated position. It also can be elevated at the legs to reduce swelling (this is also a safe position to lie in during pregnancy as it does not put weight on the major blood vessels that return blood from your legs to your heart).
Are there circumstances when massage during pregnancy isn’t advisable?
There are some instances when massage may not be appropriate, particularly if it is a high-risk pregnancy or you have certain health conditions. It’s always advisable to check with your doctor or midwife before having a massage.
